I want to mirror some keyframes on the X-axis so that I don't have to redo the keyframes for the opposite/reversed animation. After duplicating the keyframes, I expected that selecting the keyframes and pressing SX then $-1$ would mirror them, but it gives a different result:

This is the mirror result I was expecting:

How to flip or mirror keyframes horizontally on the X-axis in Graph Editor? What am I missing?

  • $\begingroup$ You gave your own answer, scale only on x by pressing s x -1. If you press s -1 you scale in x and y. Also, don't scale by Individual centers, use Bounding box or 2D cursor. $\endgroup$ Commented yesterday

Keyframe transformations in the Graph editor also have their pivot point. Check its settings when you see unexpected behavior. enter image description here In your case, it is because you were scaling about individual centers.
