Every CodePen account has “Bookmarks” to keep Pens, Projects, and Collections handy.

You can click the bookmark icon at the top of the page to save the item to your Bookmarks.

The bookmark icon turns blue when you’ve saved the item to your Bookmarks.

You can also add to Bookmarks from the menu while browsing.

Add to Bookmarks from the ... Action Menu

It’s realtime, too! When you bookmark something, it’s available on your Bookmarks right away, wherever you’re logged in to CodePen.

Browsing Bookmarks

You can quickly get back to your Bookmarks all over CodePen using the bookmark icon in the header. In the Pen or Project editor, you can open your Bookmarks by clicking the down arrow next to the bookmark icon:

You can bookmark anyone’s items

You don’t have to own something to bookmark it. You can bookmark other people’s Pens, Projects, or Collections to keep them handy.

No one else can see your Bookmarks

Only you can see your Bookmarks. Bookmarking something doesn’t affect the privacy of the bookmarked item, either, so you can feel free to bookmark your private stuff.

If you’re on a team, your list stays with you in both your personal and team context so you can refer back to it anytime. Your Bookmarks are not shown to your fellow team members.

Removing a bookmark

When browsing the site, the action menu will let you add or remove bookmarks.

Remove from Bookmarks in the Action Menu

Or, if you’re on the item’s page, you can click the blue bookmark icon at the top of the item to remove the bookmark.
