Enrichment & Extracurricular Programs
At Briarmeadow, we are proud to offer a variety of enrichment opportunities that support the development of the whole child—academically, artistically, and physically.
PK–5th Grade Enrichment:
Students in grades PK–5 attend the following enrichment classes as part of their weekly schedule:

Art – once a week

Library/Media Center – once a week

Physical Education (PE) – twice a week
Middle School Electives (Grades 6–8):
Students in grades 6–8 have access to a rotating schedule of electives. Offerings typically include:

All middle school students are also enrolled in Pre-AP Spanish as part of their academic schedule.
After-School Enrichment:
For families seeking additional opportunities beyond the school day, our PTO partners with club and athletic vendors to provide after-school programs at cost. These offerings often include:

Yoga
Baseball Club:
We offer a Baseball Club for students in grades 4–8, providing an opportunity to build skills, teamwork, and school spirit. If you are interested in joining baseball, please contact our Office Manager, Steve Levine at slevine1@houstonisd.org
