Parking Information

Visitor Parking & Campus Access

Visitor Parking:
Visitor parking is located in the north parking lot. Parents and guests may use this lot when visiting the campus.

Please note the following parking restrictions:

  • No parking is allowed in the spaces directly in front of the school during arrival (7:45–8:45 AM) and dismissal (3:00–4:15 PM).

  • These front spaces may only be used between 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM. Vehicles parked outside of these hours will be asked to move.

Arrival & Dismissal:

  • During arrival, parents may park and walk their child to the front doors.

  • During dismissal, all families must use the car rider lane. There is no pickup allowed at the front doors, without previous approval and pass issued.

  • For special events, our police officer may direct overflow parking to the neighboring lot or behind the blue pavilion. This is permitted only under officer direction.

Campus Visitors & Volunteer Guidelines

All visitors must check in at the main office and receive a visitor badge before entering any other part of the building. Staff are expected to stop any unbadged individuals and ensure they report to the office.  First time visitors to campus must bring an ID (DL or Passport).  You will be registered at that time with our online security system.

  • HISD employees and substitutes must wear their district-issued ID badges at all times.

  • Only district-related visitors are permitted in instructional areas during the school day. Family members of staff may not enter classrooms without prior approval from the principal.
