this is our climate moment
-
REPUBLICAN RATE HIKE
Trump and his cronies in Congress are raising costs on American workers and families in order to deliver huge tax cuts to billionaires and Big Oil. We will not forget this.
-
PROJECT 2025 IS TRUMP’S AGENDA
Trump is hellbent on enacting Project 2025, threatening our democracy and climate progress. We will fight back, and he will fail.
-
CHIP IN
We will not let Trump and his allies drown us out. We need your support to protect our climate progress and make sure our voices are heard.
Trump’s Energy Crisis
Household electric bills are up 11% nationally since Trump took office and are poised to climb higher. In July 2025, the Trump administration and congressional Republicans passed a bill that is already raising utility costs and destroying jobs by cutting cheaper, cleaner energy projects, while funding new tax breaks for the oil and gas industries. With data centers and artificial intelligence putting unprecedented demands on our electric grid, these moves to gut clean energy are taking critical production offline and increasing costs for consumers. It’s a Republican Rate Hike.
And today, more than 158,000 jobs have already been lost or stalled in the clean energy sector since Trump’s election. Donald Trump and his allies are creating a self-inflicted energy crisis, sending utility costs through the roof, closing down factories, and making us more dependent on foreign oil—all while dramatically increasing the pollution of our air and water.
