You can Clone or Duplicate the existing entries within WPForms Views using Duplicate Entry field. This feature helps you quickly copy an entry for editing or re-user without manually adding the data to form and submitting the form.
Steps to Add the Duplicate Entry Field #
- Go to your View Editor.
- Click Add Field → Other Fields → Duplicate Entry.
- (Optional) Enable Redirect to Edit Entry after Duplicating Entry from the Field Settings panel if you want users to be redirected directly to the Edit Entry page after duplication.

(Optional) If you want to redirect user to Edit Entry Page after duplicating entry you can enable the “Redirect to Edit Entry after Duplicating Entry” settings from Field Settings.

Using the Duplicate Entry Field #
Now save your view and go to view frontend. You’ll see a Duplicate Entry link for each record.

Clicking this link will instantly duplicate the selected entry and display a success message confirming the duplication.

If you are not seeing the Duplicate Entry link inside the Entries list or table:
- Make sure you’re logged in as an Administrator, or
- Ensure the logged-in user has the Edit Entries permission.
You can assign user role Edit Entries permission from WPForms Views => Settings => Access
