AI will save lives on the road! That was the message of our CEO, Christophe Périllat, during his keynote at Adopt AI - Grand Palais, Artefact's international AI summit in Paris. And the bonus to the keynote was that Isabelle Fraine, Managing Director of Google Cloud France, presented Christophe Périllat with the Google Cloud CEO of the Year Award for his visionary leadership in AI at Valeo. AI is already a game changer in the automotive industry, both in R&D and manufacturing. As world leader in ADAS, all of our perception systems today are powered by AI, making them more accurate and reactive, and directly contributing to saving lives on the road. AI has the potential to tremendously accelerate autonomous driving with the software-defined vehicle and with next-gen AI that will enable the car to behave more like a human driver.

And the highlight? 👉 Our first-ever wiper rubber extrusion line in China just went live. What this means in real life: ✨ Rubber strips produced locally = no long trips, no deformation, no quality drop. ✨ Fresher rubber, better performance, lower costs. ✨ New lines for rear wiper motors and sensor cleaning systems to boost our capabilities.
