Customizable select and combobox #10

Session description
There are a number of followups for customizable select that I'd like to gauge interest in and get feedback on:
- Rendering <select> as a listbox is a one-line widget that opens a popup on iOS and Android whatwg/html#8189
- Base appearance for list box select elements whatwg/html#11477
- The select element doesn't support slotted option elements whatwg/html#11535
There are also other proposals related to having a text filter for a select element, as well as making <input type=text list=datalist> more customizable:
