Enabling Effective AC Participation

Session description

Brainstorm ways to improve the effectiveness of the AC, as a community and in its role advising and overseeing W3C activities.

This session will target AC Reps in particular.

Come up with concrete implementable ideas to improve the experience and effectiveness of the AC.

I'd say @bkardell and @ydaniv would be a great pair to co-chair this session. Though I would also trust either of them to solo chair this if needed, I'd be a bit sorry if they had to, because I think both of them also have a bunch to contribute in their own names, which can be sometimes difficult when chairing. But co-chairing gives room for taking your chair hat off and letting the other in charge if necessary, so that sounds great to me.

I think that participation from the Team would be welcome. I would suggest @yonaomi, as our Director of Global Member Relations, if available.

@TzviyaSiegman I think your participation would be great, thanks. Can you work out with @bkardell and @ydaniv how many co-chairs we want and which of you should handle that? I proposed this breakout because I want to attend it, but I don't feel like I have a an especially strong claim at deciding how to run it, so if you can figure it out among yourselves, that's probably for the best.

Thank you @frivoal for the excellent initiative. I thought as a member, as AB, and as part of the W3C team, @TzviyaSiegman 's experience will, through active engagement with members, further deepen the discussion in this session. I shall focus on taking minutes and subsequently endeavour to coordinate the proposals gained here both internally and externally and implement them.

In my understanding (sorry if I do misunderstand), @ydaniv is more available than @bkardell, so my suggestion would be that @ydaniv and @TzviyaSiegman co-chair. and I do hope that @bkardell will be able to attend as well.
