The Meri Panchayat App by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj has won the Champion Award at the World Summit on the Information Society Awards 2025 in Geneva This global recognition celebrates India’s vision of inclusive and digital rural development, empowering 2.65 lakh Gram Panchayats, 25 lakh elected representatives, and nearly 95 crore rural citizens. In an era where digital payments are second nature, safeguarding users from fraud is more important than ever. That’s why we at TVF conceptualised and executed “Crack The Scam”, a campaign in collaboration with UPI that combined awareness with storytelling for their message of the “Main Moorkh Nahi Hoon” Watch all videos here: https://lnkd.in/djjzq--q At TVF, we knew that for a message this important, the delivery had to be rooted in relatability and trust. So we turned to a world that our audience knows and loves, the Aspirants Universe. We created a series of eight short reels, placed in scenarios that mirrored real-life fraud tactics like digital arrest, lottery links, deepfake videos, and other digital financial frauds. These stories were designed to spark recognition, evoke caution, and drive home the core thought, “Main Moorkh Nahi Hoon.” The campaign struck a chord, crossing 30 million+ views, sparking thousands of conversations, and driving meaningful engagement across platforms. But more than the numbers, it brought attention to the little moments where awareness can save someone from a big mistake. This partnership was about creating awareness, inspiring participation & supporting a national mission that is transforming the future of Bharat from its roots. Ministry of Panchayati Raj Through a 3-part video series, we explored: Women Empowerment - Showcasing how women leaders are stepping forward to lead Panchayat decisions, challenging deep-rooted gender norms & asserting their rightful place in governance. The series also shines a light on the Pradhan Pati phenomenon, where male relatives unofficially assume decision-making roles & how empowered women are pushing back, reclaiming their agency. Digital Governance - Demonstrating how initiatives like SVAMITVA and the Meri Panchayat app are digitizing rural governance, bringing transparency, accessibility, and efficiency to the people & modernizing how villages manage their resources and services.
