Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are still going strong.
A source tells PEOPLE that the Wicked costars, who’ve been romantically linked since July 2023, are “making it work” despite their jam-packed schedules.
“They both have a lot going on, but their relationship is the real deal,” the source says. “They’re incredibly supportive of each other’s careers and so excited for everyone to see their new film.”
Grande shared photos from the London premiere featuring her Wicked: For Good cast mates— including a sweet snapshot of Slater — as well as her mother Joan, father Ed, brother Frankie, director Jon M. Chu, costar Cynthia Erivo and stylist Law Roach.

Grande, 32, announced her highly anticipated 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour on Aug. 28, marking her long-awaited return to the concert stage, and she recently wrapped filming Focker In-Law with Ben Stiller.
Slater, 33, has been busy juggling his own slate of theater and film projects. In February, the Tony Award-nominated actor will play famous French mime Marcel Marceau in Marcel on the Train, a new Off-Broadway play he co-wrote with Marshall Pailet.
The couple first met in late 2022 while filming Wicked, in which Grande stars as Glinda and Slater plays Boq.
PEOPLE confirmed their relationship in July 2023, shortly after both separated from their then-spouses, Dalton Gomez and Lilly Jay.
Since then, the pair have quietly but confidently built a life together as they prepare to release the final chapter of Wicked. Despite months of online speculation, the source tells PEOPLE the couple remain “solid."
In 2024, Grande gushed about Slater during a November interview with EntertainmentTonight, saying, “He’s always adorable, and he’s so amazing in this film — he’s such an amazing person. I’m so happy people are getting to know him. My heart is very happy.”
