Dear Parents and Student Athletes of The Rice School/La Escuela Rice,
To tryout for Cross Country, Volleyball (Girls Only), Basketball, Soccer or Track & Field, you must create an account in Aktivate. (scan or click on the QR code below).
ALL forms MUST be completed in Aktivate.com to tryout NO EXCEPTIONS! All physicals should be taken no earlier than May 16, 2025.
GET YOUR PHYSICAL DONE BY A DOCTOR OVER THE SUMMER BREAK! NextLevel, Walgreens, some Urgent Care clinics also do sports physicals.
IMPORTANT: From HISD Athletics, we will not accept physicals for the 2025-26 school year stamped before May 16, 2025.

- Cross country - no tryouts practice begins august
- Volleyball (girls only) -tryouts first two weeks of school
Spring sports:
- Basketball-tryouts in October
- Soccer -tryouts in January
- Track & field - tryouts March
