Migrations can be from on-premises databases to Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) or Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), databases running on EC2 to RDS, or vice versa, as well as from one RDS database to another RDS database. It can also move data between SQL, NoSQL, and text-based targets.
