About

TypeScript adds additional syntax to JavaScript to support a tighter integration with your editor. Catch errors early in your editor. TypeScript code converts to JavaScript, which runs anywhere JavaScript runs: In a browser, on Node.js or Deno and in your apps. TypeScript understands JavaScript and uses type inference to give you great tooling without additional code. TypeScript was used by 78% of the 2020 State of JS respondents, with 93% saying they would use it again. The most common kinds of errors that programmers write can be described as type errors: a certain kind of value was used where a different kind of value was expected. This could be due to simple typos, a failure to understand the API surface of a library, incorrect assumptions about runtime behavior, or other errors.

About

ggplot2 is a system for declaratively creating graphics, based on The Grammar of Graphics. You provide the data, tell ggplot2 how to map variables to aesthetics, what graphical primitives to use, and it takes care of the details. ggplot2 is now over 10 years old and is used by hundreds of thousands of people to make millions of plots. That means, by-and-large, ggplot2 itself changes relatively little. When we do make changes, they will be generally to add new functions or arguments rather than changing the behavior of existing functions, and if we do make changes to existing behavior we will do them for compelling reasons. If you are new to ggplot2 you are better off starting with a systematic introduction, rather than trying to learn from reading individual documentation pages.

About

Imageio is a Python library that provides an easy interface to read and write a wide range of image data, including animated images, volumetric data, and scientific formats. It is cross-platform, runs on Python 3.5+, and is easy to install. Imageio is written in pure Python, so installation is easy. Imageio works on Python 3.5+. It also works on Pypy. Imageio depends on Numpy and Pillow. For some formats, imageio needs additional libraries/executables (e.g. ffmpeg), which imageio helps you to download/install. If something doesn’t work as it should, you need to know where to search for causes. The overview on this page aims to help you in this regard by giving you an idea of how things work, and - hence - where things may go sideways.
