If you no longer need Device Protection, you can discontinue your device's enrollment at any time. When you cancel Device Protection, you won't be able to enroll again on the same device.
Cancel coverage- On the Google Fi website, go to Your plan.
- Select the device that you would like to discontinue enrollment for.
- Under "Device Protection," select Get support.
- Under "Get Support," select Cancel Coverage.
- If you're part of a Google Fi group plan, only the group plan owner or Device Protection account holder can request cancellation of coverage.
- If you cancel Device Protection within 30 days of enrollment, you receive a full refund. This is for any prepaid days of coverage remaining in the cycle, minus the cost of any claims paid or repairs made.
- This is a 60-month plan that must be paid on a monthly basis, or coverage will be canceled for nonpayment.
- We will not cancel coverage for nonpayment without providing you with the opportunity to pay within the applicable notice period.
- Keep in mind that once you cancel Device Protection, you won't be able to enroll again on the same device.
To offer Device Protection, Google Fi partnered with Asurion. When you enroll a device in Device Protection, Asurion receives information about your device, your email address, and your service address.
