How do I delete my Fitbit account and service?

Important: You can do these actions without deleting your Fitbit account:

Prepare for account deletion

  • Remove child accounts: You must first remove the child account associated with your account before account deletion.
  • Export your data: If you want to export your data before deletion, go to How do I export my Fitbit data?
  • Cancel subscriptions: If you have a Fitbit Premium subscription, you should manage or cancel it separately through the store where you purchased it. Check if your subscription was purchased from Google Play, Apple App Store, or Google Store.
  • Erase your device: Account deletion doesn't automatically erase the data stored on your Fitbit device. If you plan to give your device away, clear its local data first.
