Data & privacy settings
Manage your Google Wallet and payments services data.
Important: Private passes, such as insurance cards and IDs are managed differently. Learn more about private passes.
- Go to the Google Wallet website.
- On the left, click Settings.
- You can turn these settings on or off:
- Use Wallet to personalize experiences across Google:
- Improve your personalized experiences across Google with info from Wallet and payments services.
- For example, with this setting on, Google can show you recommendations or deals based on the loyalty cards in your Wallet.
- Personalized experiences may also rely on your personalization settings in other Google services. Learn how to use Wallet to personalize your experience across Google.
- Google Wallet history:
- With this setting on, Google saves a history of your Wallet and payments services activity, like using passes.
- Your Wallet and payments services data help Google maintain, measure, and improve products and services, including ads. Learn how to turn on Google Wallet history.
- Use Wallet to personalize Google Ads:
- See more relevant ads based on the things you do and keep in Wallet and payments services.
- For example, in Google Shopping, you might see ads related to passes or loyalty cards saved in Wallet. Learn how to use Wallet to personalize Google Ads.
- Manage payments data: You can turn these settings on or off for all of Google Pay. Learn how Google Pay helps keep your data private.

Email settings
Manage the emails you receive from Google Pay and Google Wallet.
- Go to the Google Wallet website.
- On the left, click Settings.
- You can turn these settings on or off.

- Google Pay updates & promos: Get promotional content, recommendations, and updates based on your Google Pay activity.

- Google Wallet updates & offer: Get exclusive offers, promotions, and dates on Google Wallet features.
Tip: If you find different settings in the Google Wallet app, update your app to the latest version.
Address settings
To manage addresses, you’ll be redirected to make any changes within your Google Account or Chrome.
- Go to the Google Wallet website
- On the left, click Settings.
- Scroll down to Address Settings.
- Click the links next to “Autofill on Chrome” or “Google Account.”
Linked accounts with Plaid (US Only)
Users who link a bank account with Plaid can find and manage their linked accounts on the website.
