Customize noise cancellation with Active Noise Control (ANC) modes in the Pixel Buds app. Use them on your Pixel Buds Pro, Pixel Buds Pro 2 or Pixel Buds 2a.
-
Noise Cancellation: Blocks outside noise. When you activate this, you'll hear a single chime.
-
Transparency: Lets sound in so you can hear the world around you. When you activate this, you'll hear a double chime.
-
Adaptive (Pixel Buds Pro 2 only): Allows you to stay aware of the environment while reducing loud and unwanted noises. Adaptive Audio works with the device's ANC and transparency modes. It uses the powerful Tensor A1 chip to process audio much more intelligently and quickly.
-
Off: All other ANC modes are disabled. When you activate this, you'll hear a single chime.
If you wear only one of the Pixel Buds, you can still use all of the noise control modes.
Pixel Buds Pro and Pro 2 only: Turn on Conversation Detection to automatically switch from Noise Cancellation mode to Transparency mode when talking and pauses your media. Once you are done talking, your media will resume.
