Find & save parking locations

Important: You can only find parking near your destination in select US cities.

Before you drive, you can find places to park your car. After you reach your destination, you can save your parking location to help you find it later.

Save where you parked

You can save your parking location so you can remember where you left your car.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
2. Tap the blue dot that shows your location.
3. Tap Save your parking.

Your parking location will be saved in Google Maps until you remove it.

Find where you parked

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
2. Tap the search bar Parking location.
3. At the bottom, tap Directions .

Turn notifications on or off

You can get notifications for parking information, like where you parked and for how long.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
2. Tap your profile picture or initial Settings .
3. Tap Notifications Places.
4. Scroll down, then turn Saved parking on or off.
