I am lucky to be married to a man whom I can call home:
TnusreeWe realised we wanted to grow old together. I proposed to her with a diamond — not just to make her say yes, but because she deserved something as precious as the moment itself:
SujitI’m planning a trip for Sujit in Florida, Orlando. It’ll be our honeymoon, Sujit’s b’day and Xmas all rolled in one trip. I keep wondering what more I can possibly do to match the love and effort he put into our wedding

A story out of a romance novelTnusree met Sujit two years ago in Kolkata via a common friend. She said, “Somehow, from the very first moment, something just clicked between us. I still remember meeting him right after a rigorous gym session — in a tee and track pants, not exactly my most glamorous moment
(laughs).
” Ask Sujit he said, “Tnusree had my heart the minute I saw her. I was smitten by her.” What started as friendship, slowly transformed in courtship, albeit virtually as Sujit flew back to the US. On Tnusree’s vacation to the US, the two spent time together, the actress shared, adding, “Somewhere amidst long drives, shared sunsets and quiet conversations, I realised I was falling in love with him. And the rest is history.”

She said 'yes' in Vegas
A Vegas marriage meant to lastSujit explainedthatthereason the couple chose Las Vegas to get married is because he wanted to arrange everything for the wedding on his own to make Tnusree feel special.
“For the makeup artist, violinist (as she loves the violin) and curating the special menu for our wedding, I did it on my own keeping all of Tnusree’s favourite things in mind.” Talking about the wedding, Tnusree said: “I was overwhelmed when I saw all the beautiful arrangements Sujit made. Every little detail was a surprise — even the lehenga I wore was chosen and bought by him. He even organised a special live screening of the ceremony for my parents, sister and his relatives, so they could bless us on our special day.” After the wedding, the two enjoyed a candle-light dinner at an iconic rotating restaurant in Vegas.
BOX: These are a few of their favourite things…about each otherFor Sujit, Tnusree is beautiful inside out. “She’s passionate about her craft, honest, kind, and grounded — qualities that mean the world to me. In a time when empathy feels rare, she carries it so naturally, and that’s one of the many reasons I fell in love with her. And she’s an amazing cook too – be it egg tarka,
shukto and
muri ghonto – it’s all out of this world. It feels like love served on a plate.”
For Tnusree, Sujit is her safe place. “Even thousands of miles away from home, with my family so far, being with him makes me feel at home — like I belong here. He’s incredibly caring, endlessly loving, and with him, I never feel alone. I’m truly grateful to the almighty for blessing me with all of this.”

Sujit is incredibly romantic by nature. When I was shooting in Kolkata & Mumbai for a film with Sunny Deol, he would send bouquets to my sets. I was completely won over by that gesture. Now, he sends sweets to my mother from here as Sujit too loves Bengali sweets. And my mother is all ga-ga over his
boro jamai : TnusreeThoughI’ve been in the US since 1997, I’ve always carried my Bengali roots with me, so connecting with Tnusree’s films felt natural. Sending sweets to her mother is a small way of showing my love.

Tnusree’s work plans“I married someone I truly love and right now we’re in our honeymoon phase, so I’m taking a little break from work and discovering this new chapter of our lives together. Whether we’ll stay in the US, move to Kolkata, or find a balance between the two is something we’ll decide next year. For now, we’re just soaking in every moment of this happy, magical phase and cherishing each other completely,” informed Tnusree when asked about returning to work.
