Topher Gaylord, new board president of the iconic Western States Endurance Run, joins TrailCon as the 2025 keynote speaker.

Topher Gaylord has a lifetime of experience in global active lifestyle, athletic, outdoor and action sports industries both professionally and as lifelong participant and athlete. He has intimate global knowledge across The Americas, European, and Asian markets, having spent the past three decades in General Management, Strategy, M&A, Sales, Marketing, Product Creation, Digital, and Retail for market leading brands and companies in the industry. Gaylord has been an influencer for his entire career, with stints at VF Corporation, Mountain Hardwear, Under Armour, Vans, and more.

Despite those accomplishments and experiences, Gaylord is most at home on the trails. Having run over 75 ultramarathons across the globe, he now brings a powerful combination of entrepreneurial spirit and experience to the leadership position at the Western States Endurance Run. At TrailCon, Gaylord will pay hommage to the rich hitory of WSER and also give insight into where the world’s most iconic 100-mile race could be headed.
