In May of this year, it was announced that the Golden Trail World Series, the preeminent sub-ultra distance trail running series, had entered into a new partnership with Warner Brothers Discovery. The GTWS x WBD partnership represents a step towards the mainstream that our sport has never seen before. WBD, a titan in the media and streaming space, who owns outlets such as Eurosport, TNT Sports, MAX, CNN and more, joins TrailCon for an unfiltered glimpse into the motivations behind the effort, as well as their vision for the future of how trailrunning events are both covered and showcased in a digital fashion.
