The inaugural TrailCon Awards, presented by Nike ACG, honors the biggest and most impactful names in the sport. The awards are broken into several categories, including formal recognition of Freetrail’s Performance AND Trail Runner of the Year, as well as new and exciiting categories designed to showcase those who are elevating our sport in the biggest way.

In addition to the Freetrail Performance of the Year and Trail Runner of the Year Awards, the TrailCon Awards will also recognize winners for the following:

– The Future Award: For the brightest up and coming trail athlete.
– The Courage Award: For the person who has demonstrated next-level determination, grit, and commitment in a race or life experience related to trail running.
– The Community Impact Award: For the individual elevating the sport, regardless of capacity.

The TrailCon Awards will also induct six members into an inaugural Hall of Fame. These personalities, who have made exceptional and lasting contributions in the sport, will be recognized as some of the best and most influential figures ever seen in trail and ultra running.

Lastly, TrailCon will bestow two Icon Awards on individuals who occupy the rare air of the sport and throughout their career have transcended to a symbol of cultural significance.

This event takes place at the  Olympic Valley Event Center/Palisades Tahoe
There is no ticket needed to attend the awards and everybody is welcome to Happy Hour after the event.
