    Hello!

Currently using Solid Security on a site with 3 environments (dev, stage, pro), with Proxy Detection set to “Security Check Scan.” Does this need to be manually refreshed each time we push changes to Production, if that environment is the only one using a proxy?

Thank you for your time and help!

    Hey there,

    Great question!

Yes — if you’re pushing database changes from staging or development to production, you’ll want to re-set the Proxy Detection Setting afterward on your production site.

This is because Solid Security stores its settings (including proxy detection) in the site’s database. So when the database is overwritten, those settings go with it — even if your production environment is the only one using a proxy.

If you’re just syncing files and not touching the database, you should be all set.

    Hope that helps clarify it!

    Best,
