    Hello Team,

I’m using the AI BotKit – AI Chatbot for WordPress plugin. I want to configure a fallback option so that when the chatbot cannot answer a user’s question, it should:

    1. Show my support email address (e.g., support@mydomain.com)
    2. Provide a way for users to contact my support team directly (either by email link or support page link).

Is there a recommended method to set this up?

    • Should I configure this via the chatbot’s fallback response settings?
    • Or do I need to add a custom integration (like a mailto link or contact form redirect)?

Any guidance or sample setup would be really helpful.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @safecircle,

You can set this up without needing a custom integration. The recommended method is:

    • Add support details in the bot instructions: Include a guideline like “If you cannot answer a user’s question, provide the support email (support@mydomain.com) or share the support page link.” This ensures the bot knows to mention your contact details when needed.
    • Configure the fallback message: In the plugin’s fallback response settings, you can directly add something like:
“I couldn’t find an answer to your question. Please contact our support team at support@mydomain.com or visit our Support Page.”

This way, the fallback always shows your contact details, and the instructions help the AI mention them naturally during conversations if the user asks for help.
