Hi, my error_log file is full of these:

[28-Nov-2025 10:06:03 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key "malware-scan" in /home/macmagazine/public_html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/lib/class-itsec-scheduler-cron.php on line 54
[28-Nov-2025 10:06:03 UTC] PHP Warning: Trying to access array offset on null in /home/macmagazine/public_html/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/lib/class-itsec-scheduler-cron.php on line 54

Any chance this might get fixed in a future plugin update? Thanks!

    Hi @rfischmann,

    Thanks for flagging this.

The warnings indicate that the plugin is trying to access a missing or undefined value during its scheduled runs. We think that this may be due to a corrupted Solid Security Scheduler configuration.

These types of PHP warnings are usually non-critical and don’t impact site functionality, but I do understand that it can fill the logs fast. I’ve escalated this to our dev team for a potential fix.

In the meantime, kindly try resetting the Solid Security Scheduler by enabling the Debug mode, and clicking the “Reset” button to reset the configuration.

    I hope this helps!

This seems to have done the trick (at least after a few hours of observation), @shanedelierrr, thanks a lot!
