Relevanssi break the filter on Divi Machine Archive Loop module

I have a simple site where I’m using DIVI with DIVI Machine to display news items.

I have a DIVI template for the archive pages, so that when any category page is visited, the template is used to show standard posts from that category. This uses the standard WordPress functionality to filter the posts by that category. There is no bespoke code.

Unfortunately I cannot provide a link to the site as it is for a company intranet and contains confidentiaal information !

Example of URLs are:
<domain_name>/category/audit/
<domain_name>/category/it/

When the Relevanssi plugin is activated, it stops the page filtering by category and seems to display random posts – for example the top 3 have the dates:
January 12th, 2024,
November 20th, 2023,
November 16th, 2023
when there are lots of posts prior to these which should show first, and they are from the “General” category – which was originally “Uncategorised”.

If I deactivate Relevanssi – the correct posts from the correct categories show – for example the top 3 have dates:
July 30th, 2025
July 28th, 2025
July 25th, 2025

Any Ideas ?
