This page details the various ways to obtain access to ECMWF forecast datasets and charts depending on who you are.

ECMWF members
National meteorological services NMHS of ECMWF Member and Co-operating States and their authorised users are granted full access to ECMWF products and services.
To obtain access, contact your computing representative.
WMO members
WMO members outside the ECMWF Member and Co-operating States can access Open Data, WMO products, some archive datasets (subject to terms and conditions), and Open charts, free-of-charge.
More tailored products are available with a Service Agreement.
Commercial customers
Commercial organisations can access of ECMWF forecast products and services either via Open data/Open Charts.
If more tailored products are required than available via Open data/ Open Charts, these can be provided through the relevant Service Agreement.
Researchers
Researchers can obtain a Service Agreement with a 'Fee Waiver' to support research field experiments and verification comparison projects if Open data is not sufficient .
'Fee waivers' can be applied to Service fees related to Service Agreements for real-time data dissemination, archive access and advanced web services.
Observation data providers
Observation data providers in Member States can contact us to obtain real-time and archive products for use in their operational forecast system in exchange for real-time satellite observations.
Public
Members of the general public that have a keen interest in meteorology can access Open data, WMO Core and Recommended products and AIFS data. They can can access public archive and reanalysis datasets and view open charts online. All free of charge (terms and conditions may apply).
