For example:

The background color, foreground color, border color, checkbox size, checkbox rounded size and other styles of the checkbox need to be improved.

Would be cool, and checkboxes are pretty easy to theme without reinventing the wheel. cc @TylerLeonhardt as the owner of the main other user of checkboxes in the UI.

We have kinda re-invented the wheel already 😅 sort of... but we do already have a Checkbox widget:

I tried to use it in Quick Pick land: #208256

but it did not yet have a "disabled" style... so I couldn't fully adopt it yet.

Ah. The way I've seen it done before is to do some slight hackery so the DOM checkbox is invisible and you just have your custom checkbox styles in the same place. But that works!
