Google Calendar Doesn't Print

Google Calendar does not print when using the Chrome extension.

Configuration:

Web browser and its version: Chrome 76.0.3809.132
Operating system and its version: ChromeOS 76.0.3809.132, Win 10, OSX 10.14.3,
PDF.js version: 2.2.191
Is a browser extension: Yes

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Click on the cog wheel and click Google's built in Print button to get the Preview screen.
2. Then click the next Print button that is displayed.

What is the expected behavior?
You should get 2 popups to print the calendar. First is the Preview, second being the Chrome Print dialog

What went wrong?
You do get the Preview popup, but then after clicking the next Print button, the next screen to choose a printer never displays.

The following JavaScript error occurs and the final print popup never displays.
Uncaught (in promise) Error: Invalid or corrupted PDF file. at viewer.js:1103

When reporting an issue, please make sure that you actually provide all of the information requested in https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/blob/master/.github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md since in its current form there's unfortunately nowhere near enough information in order for this issue to be actionable.

I think so too. Both Google products appear to use the same way of printing. This has been fixed in the extension, but most likely still needs a release. @Rob--W can perhaps take care of that.

Appreciate the awesome response time! Sorry to not have the best of news, but here are my results:

OS: Windows 10 and OSX 10.14.3
PDF.js version: 2.3.164
Browser: Chrome v77
Chrome extension PDF Viewer

New result:
There is no JavaScript error, but the popup to choose a printer still does not display. The job renders immediately to PDF and goes to to download folder

OS: ChromeOS v76
PDF.js version: 2.3.164
Browser: Chrome v76
Chrome extension PDF viewer

New result:
Same result as before. JavaSript error is displayed and it cannot be printed.

Thank you for the feedback. Reopening to keep tracking this since it looks like the issue is not fully resolved yet.

This is different from the other issue.

The problem here is that the PDF URL generated by Google Calendar behaves differently depending on how often it is being requested.

1. First request: a HTML page that sets the PDF_INLINE=ok session cookie. Immediately redirects to a PDF URL.
2. Second request: PDF resource. Clears the PDF_INLINE cookie. Responds with a PDF (Content-Disposition:attachment) that invokes a printing command.

It's going difficult to create a general solution against this. I could try to fetch the PDF again, or implement a setting to ignore certain domains or URLs, and add G calendar to that list by default.

Hi,
I was having issues printing from google calendar and through trial and error found it was this extension.

This is still a problem on Linux Chrome Version 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit) with PDF.js 2.3.164
Once you tell it what dates you want to print the select a printer dialogue never comes up.

In the javascript console I get:

Can I help troubleshoot in anyway - or is there a solution?
