2. open the pdf above

WFM, with PDF.js version 2.7.345 in Firefox Nightly 86 on Windows.

Web browser and its version: Chrome 87.0.4280.88

This does look somewhat like a platform and/or browser-specific issue, rather than a PDF.js one, since otherwise you'd sort of expect it to be consistently broken everywhere.

I can reproduce the issue with Firefox 84.0 on https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html.

macOS Mojave 10.14.6
Firefox 84.0
PDF.js 2.7.421

Interestingly, when I change the zoom level to 50%, there is almost no cropping.

Yes I can reproduce with Firefox nightly on MacOS (Ventura 13.6).

In using https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/web/viewer.html, I can reproduce on mac with Chrome but not with Safari.
@jfkthame, do you have an idea on what could be wrong here ?
