Advice: Slow performance after weeks of normal performance.

I had set up a utility to transcribe/translate media, available here: https://github.com/hechz/Whisper-Media-Subtitles/

I have used it for the last couple of months. It had been taking about 30-50 minutes to transcribe English subtitles from an episode, and about an hour to do the same for a film. Recently, it's been running for 20 to 25 HOURS to transcribe a single episode.

Nothing on the system running the container (whisper-gpu) has changed

Can you offer advice on how to debug/profile the issue?

I've updated to the latest CUDA and nvidia-utils and performance has improved dramatically
