2025 Trustee Election
An election was held in the Houston Independent School District on November 4, 2025, for the purpose of electing a trustee from each of the following three districts:
- Geographic District V held by Sue Deigaard
- Geographic District VI held by Kendall Baker
- Geographic District VII held by Bridget Wade
Incumbent Bridget Wade was re-elected to her position. Maria Benzon and Michael McDonough were elected to Geographic Districts V and VI, respectively. Felicity Peyeyra and Myrna Guidry were unopposed candidates for Geographic Districts I and IX respectively, and their names did not appear on the ballot.

2024 Bond Election
A schoolhouse bond election was held in the Houston Independent School District on November 5, 2024. Details of Propositions A and B may be found below.
Proposition A - Voter Information Document
The issuance of $3,960,000,000 schoolhouse bonds by Houston Independent School District for new school buildings and renovation and expansion of existing school buildings (including safety and security infrastructure for such school buildings), the purchase of necessary sites for school buildings and the imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds. This is a property tax increase.
Proposition B - Voter Information Document
The issuance of $440,000,000 schoolhouse bonds by Houston Independent School District for technology equipment and systems, technology infrastructure, instruction technology and the imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds. This is a property tax increase.

2023 Trustee Election
An election was held in the Houston Independent School District on November 7, 2023, for the purpose of electing a trustee from each of the following two districts:
- Geographic District III held by Dani Hernandez
- Geographic District IV held by Patricia K. Allen
Both of the above incumbents were re-elected to their positions. H. A. "Savant" Moore and Plácido Gómez were unopposed candidates for Geographic Districts II and VIII respectively, and their names did not appear on the ballot.
