Internal Audit Reports

Internal Audit is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity that is guided by a philosophy of adding value to improve the operations of the Houston Independent School District (HISD). It assists the School Board and senior management in accomplishing the district’s strategic objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the design and effectiveness of the organization's governance, risk management, and internal control processes. The internal auditing function is performed by a third-party vendor.
