Today, Sol and Helen Price’s son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Allison Price, continue the family’s legacy through their leadership of the foundation. Reliable access to nutritious food is essential to the well-being of families across San Diego. Two of our partner organizations play a key regional role in meeting this need: Feeding San Diego provides more than 31 million meals each year in partnership with more than 350 local charities, schools, and community organizations. Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank operates two warehouse distribution centers and partners with 450+ nonprofit organizations to deliver emergency food assistance throughout the county. Their work forms the foundation of food access support across the region. But right now, many families are facing increased financial stress, food insecurity, and housing instability. To help meet these urgent needs, #UnitedForSanDiego created the Unity Fund, a collaboration among San Diego Foundation, Prebys Foundation, Price Philanthropies, and the Price Family.
