  • AI is fundamentally changing human behavior in ways that might surprise you. How should your marketing change? In a recent episode of AI Explored with Michael (Mike) Stelzner, Mark Schaefer unpacks the behavioral shifts already underway and what they mean for marketers. Consider this . . . 🔹AI is becoming the new decision-maker People now rely on AI for major life choices — from where to travel to what car to buy. 🔹Trust is shifting fast Mark had ChatGPT plan his entire 5-day Paris itinerary and followed it, and it delivered. 🔹Human overrides still matter He still chose his preferred airline and followed a friend’s recommendation for a bakery. Brand loyalty and word of mouth remain powerful. 🔹People are offloading thinking to AI Navigation, writing, decision-making - even emotional processing. One student told Mark, “I’ve made myself dumber. I have ChatGPT answer everything.” 🔹Emotional dependence on AI is rising 31% of Gen Z say they have an AI friend. Expectations for brands will shift as a result. If customer behavior is changing this dramatically, your marketing strategy needs to adapt just as fast! 👋 -Jason 📺 Watch the episode: https://lnkd.in/g-W-ahx9 📝 Read the notes: https://lnkd.in/ernPKtS6 🎧 Download the audio in your favorite podcast player app.

  • Are we in an AI bubble or AI birthing pains? The U.S. added 119,000 new jobs in September (just announced). Yesterday, NVDIA crushed market expectations. CEO Jensen Huang says there is no bubble. On Tuesday, Google Gemini 3.0 Pro dropped. And it tops all the leaderboards. All this and we're not even three years since the ChatGPT moment. I'm trying to process this all. You see, this Tuesday I led an internal training on Google Gemini. We made a decision that we're using this as our main AI solution at Social Media Examiner. Why? One word: Integration. Google Gemini is deeply integrated with the entire Google ecosystem: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and so on. All the tools we already use are all interconnected. Plus, it's designed to be multi-modal, which means it can see and hear. Google's image and video abilities are top of class. Only an hour before our internal company training, Gemini 3 dropped. Of course I had to scramble to update the slides. I got a little taste of what it will be like for presenters at our upcoming AI Business World conference. I feel pretty strongly that the tools that integrate well might be the big winners in 2026. I recall early in the AI race, Chris Penn told me, "Don't overlook Google." He was right. They invented the transformer (the T in GPT), have the data, and have the money to win this race. What do you think? Are you using Google Gemini? Are we in an AI bubble? I'd love to hear from you. - Michael (Mike) Stelzner

  • Most conferences put people on stage because they’re popular - or because they paid to be there. We do it differently. At Social Media Marketing World, every speaker is selected based on what actually helps marketers: ✔ They’re doing the work in real-time ✔ They’re exceptional educators ✔ They’re not allowed to pitch or hold back "Was grateful it was a genuine educational event and not a gimmicky sales pitch for each speaker's online courses." -Justine This is the conference where you learn what really works.  https://lnkd.in/gppYJGSx #SMMW26

  • LinkedIn Continues to Evolve . . . What do you think about these updates? 1. AI-powered search is changing how people find you 2. Your content and profile data can now help train Microsoft’s AI 3. A new Creator Hub gives marketers tools to grow and get seen Good, bad, or “let’s wait and see”? Which of these updates is most relevant to how you’re using LinkedIn right now?
