Trump said Australia's healthcare is better, and Bernie Sanders can't stop laughing
Over in New York, Donald Trump and Australia's Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull have been exchanging pleasantries, while trying to get everyone to forget about that phone call.
Instead, Trump appeared to made a startling admission about the U.S. healthcare system, mere moments after celebrating the death of Obamacare, as his party's American Health Care Act made baby steps towards becoming law.
"Right now Obamacare is failing. We have a failing -- I shouldn't say this to our great gentleman and my friend from Australia, because you have better healthcare than we do," Trump told Turnbull, referencing Australia's publicly-funded, universal healthcare system.

Australia's Medicare, has been in place for more than 40 years, working alongside a private system. Australian taxes go toward funding the system, which ensure that everyone in the country has health care coverage, irrespective of their income, status, or pre-existing conditions.

"The President has just said it. That's great. Let's take a look at the Australian healthcare system, and maybe he wants to look at the Canadian healthcare system, or systems throughout Europe. Thank you Mr. President, let us move to a Medicare for all system," a delighted Sanders told MSNBC.
And yes, Twitter took notice too. They want that universal health care system love.
