iOS 26.2 beta could arrive imminently. How to download it.
The launch of Apple's next big iOS update is imminent, which means you might also be able to try out the next one soon, possibly even this week.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reported that iOS 26.1 could drop as soon as Monday, which also means that the first developer beta for iOS 26.2 could drop this week, perhaps on Tuesday. It doesn't sound like this beta will include much in the way of exciting new features, but still, it's something to try out if you're an iPhone enthusiast. The good news is that you, the normal person reading this, can try it for yourself. Here's how.
How to install the iOS 26.2 beta
For clarity's sake, I will mention that this initial beta is intended for developers, so you need to enroll in the developer beta program to access it. First, you'll need to enroll in the free version of the developer program, which you should be able to do on Apple's website without making any payments. After that, go to the Apple developer website and log in, then enroll in the beta program.

Once you've done all of that, here's how to access the beta on your device:
First, make a device backup
Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates
Choose the iOS 26.2 developer beta (assuming it's available)
Go to the previous screen and select Download and Install
Again, all of this is contingent on Gurman's reporting being correct, which it usually is on these sorts of things. Just remember not to be too disappointed when the beta doesn't have a lot going on at first.
