I'd go to war for this beard trimmer, and it's $49 for Prime Day

Prime Day beard trimmer deal: Grab the Panasonic MultiShape Electric Beard Trimmer for 38% off its usual price at Amazon, where it's under $50 for the first time ever.

I've tested hundreds of grooming and beauty products, and my all-time favorite has never been more affordable. As of this writing, the Panasonic MultiShape, the versatile men's multigroomer, is on sale at both Amazon and the Panasonic online store.

After testing (at least) a dozen beard trimmers, the MultiShape is my daily driver for a few reasons. It's a wet/dry groomer that's easy to clean. It can handle a close shave, detailing, and both short and long facial hair. And I can confirm that it lasts for years.

Why I love it

The MultiShape has a rotating adjustment dial and four beard trimming attachments, letting you go from 1 mm to 30 mm, a much wider range than more popular trimmers from Philips Norelco and Braun.

The all-in-one grooming system

Why I love it

If you want all the bells and whistles, head to Panasonic and get the MultiShape All-in-One Kit for $147. If you do, you can use the MultiShape to trim your beard — and shave your face, brush your teeth, trim your nose/ear hair, and more. Panasonic even makes a facial brush attachment. In past sales, I've seen this kit discounted to $179, but this is the lowest price I've seen to date.

As I said in my MultiShape review, this is the "grooming product I use more than any other."
