Donald Trump touched down in South Korea on Wednesday, welcomed by a familiar song. Arriving for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders' summit in Gyeongju, the U.S. president's landing was paired with a military band playing the Village People's "YMCA," Trump's go-to MAGA rally and fundraiser anthem.

"The Village People must be so proud that their song became America's official presidential anthem," said The Daily Show's Desi Lydic on Wednesday night. "To think that when they wrote it they just wanted to make a jaunty tune about getting railed at the gym."

Lydic then took aim at South Korea's lavish gifts for Trump, with President Lee Jae Myung presenting the president with a giant replica of a golden Silla Kingdom crown — notably, days after millions marched in "No Kings" protests against the president across America.

"Wow! A golden crown! What a lovely, thoughtful gift for our president. South Korea, can I just talk to you for a minute over here..." said Lydic, before directly addressing the country down the camera.

"Hey, South Korea! What the f*** are you doing? Seriously, we have been trying real hard over here to gently steer our president away from the whole king thing, and then you come along all, 'Heyyy, President Trump, check out this cool crown! Try it on! Take it home with you!' NOT HELPING. Please, just give him a sack of money like a normal country and stop fu***ing up our shit!"

It's also worth watching Lydic's fellow late night show hosts Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers dig into Trump's golden gift.
