The trailer for Luca, Pixar's 24th feature film, is here, and it's full of gorgeous animation, friendship, and sea monsters. What else would you expect from Pixar?
Luca invites you to explore two new worlds: the Italian seaside town of Portorosso and the underwater realm of the sea monsters just off the coast. Two sea monsters, Luca (Jacob Tremblay) and his friend Alberto (Jack Dylan Grazer), spend their summer exploring the town, all while trying to hide their true forms from suspicious fishermen. They befriend human Giulia (Emma Berman) and enjoy everything the town has to offer, from gelato to Vespa rides.
Directed by Enrico Casarosa (La Luna), Luca looks like it will perfectly capture the magic of a childhood summer vacation, and it's one of many movies we can't wait to see this summer.
Luca begins streaming on Disney+ June 18.
