New Hampshire Public Radio is proud to announce the launch of NHPR Books, a new addition to our weekend programming lineup that celebrates the power of storytelling and thoughtful conversation.
Airing each Saturday at 3 p.m., NHPR Books is a dedicated space to showcase locally produced literary interviews—bringing listeners compelling conversations with acclaimed and emerging writers alike. The program draws from NHPR’s signature series:
- Writers on a New England Stage: Half lecture, half intimate conversation, Writers on a New England Stage brings world-class authors to New Hampshire to read from their latest works and talk about themselves, their creative process, and their stories.
- Authors on Main: Authors On Main is a partnership of Gibson's Bookstore, NHPR and the Capitol Center for the Arts, bringing world-class authors to Concord, NH.
- Check This Out: From New Hampshire Public Radio and PEN/Faulkner, Check This Out is a fresh literary series where host Rachel Barenbaum dives deeply into the works of emerging and diverse authors.
