Hello Jost,

I think I am beginning to see what was happening.  At the time this 
starting happening I was editing, rebuilding and testing in a very tight 
pattern.  I suspect that I left some connections open and then tried to 
open other connections before gc could clean them up.  Also, Ithink I had 
an unhandled exception going on as well.

I am going to try putting the close connection in the finally clause and 
beefing up the error handling.  Thanks for your help.

are you sure that the loaded version of the class U2 has the method 
PbrGetMgrList? What does echo java_inspect($yourU2Object) display?

It won't happen again unless you change U2.class (or the Java library 
archive which contains U2.class).
