we could not reproduce this problem. The bridge runs
fine in the above environment.



Can you please open a problem report (please use
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=add&group_id=117793&atid=679233)
and, set the log level to 5 and attach the log at the
end of the ticket?

Please first check if both, Apache and Tomcat run on
the same machine and that the SocketContextServer
isn't accidently switched off
(-Dphp.java.bridge.no_socket_server). -- If you run
Tomcat on a different machine than the web server,
remember to start the bridge in promiscuous mode (see
the INSTALL document for details). I will change the
above error message so that it mentiones that the
default SocketContextServer binds itself only to the
local interface so that the bridge cannot be accessed
remotely.
