Hi, I'm using a RHEL derivative of Linux. The tika project does have a jar file with everything in it. The source is available for the jar file, but I don't personally have the environment set up to rebuild it. -- Jason On 02/07/2012 11:11, php...@li... wrote: > Hi > > Kindly can you tell are you working on which OS (i.e. Windows or Linux) If > Linux than which Linux. Is there a quick-start guide anywhere for a non-java developer? I have a java product (tika) that needs to be accessed from PHP, and would like to get something together as a test-case to show that this would be a way forward. At the moment all the documentation assumes you are a java coder and know what all the lingo means. Is there something that would take a non-java guy through the steps of setting up the java project/application and talking to it from PHP? Thanks, -- Jason <http://academe.co.uk/> |
