Jar file is enough for you until it is running. Now tell me what java do u
have in your linux and do you have tomcat install. if both are not there
than install first java sdk more than 1.5 version and then install tomcat
6. Once install than let me know I help you to make Java php bridge and
tika to install

Hi,

I have a java product (tika) that needs to be accessed from PHP, and would like
to get something together as a test-case to show that this would be a way
forward. At the moment all the documentation assumes you are a java coder and
know what all the lingo means. Is there something that would take a non-java guy
through the steps of setting up the java project/application and talking to it
from PHP?
