About

Oracle Database@AWS enables customers to migrate Oracle Databases, including Oracle Exadata workloads, to Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure or Oracle Autonomous Database on Dedicated Exadata Infrastructure within AWS. This migration requires minimal to no database or application changes while maintaining full feature and architecture compatibility, performance, and availability. Customers can establish low-latency connections between Oracle Database@AWS and applications deployed in AWS, including on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). Oracle Database@AWS integrates directly with AWS Analytics services through zero-ETL to unify data across Oracle and AWS, enabling analytics and machine learning. Further, integration with AWS generative AI services is supported to accelerate innovation. It offers a unified experience for collaborative purchasing, management, operations, and support.

About

Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) is a unique, scale-everything, highly available database architecture that transparently scales both reads and writes for all workloads, including OLTP, analytics, AI vectors, SaaS, JSON, batch, text, graph, IoT, and in-memory. It effortlessly scales complex applications such as SAP, Oracle Fusion Applications, and Salesforce workloads. Oracle RAC delivers the lowest latency and highest throughput for all data needs through its unique fused cache across servers, ensuring ultrafast local data access. Parallelized workloads across all CPUs guarantee maximum throughput, and the integration of Oracle’s storage design enables seamless online storage expansion. Unlike other databases that depend on public cloud infrastructures, sharding, or read replicas for scalability, Oracle RAC guarantees the lowest latency and highest throughput out of the box.

About

Unlambda is a programming language. Nothing remarkable there. The originality of Unlambda is that it stands as the unexpected intersection of two marginal families of languages. Functional programming languages, of which the canonical representative is Scheme (a Lisp dialect). This means that the basic object manipulated by the language (and indeed the only one as far as Unlambda is concerned) is the function. Rather, Unlambda uses a functional approach to programming: the only form of objects it manipulates are functions. Each function takes a function as an argument and returns a function. Apart from a binary “apply” operation, Unlambda provides several built-in functions (the most important ones being the K and S combinators). User-defined functions can be created, but not saved or named, because Unlambda does not have any variables.

About

Django-MySQL extends Django’s built-in MySQL and MariaDB support their specific features not available on other databases. A new cache backend that makes use of MySQL’s upsert statement and does compression. Named locks for easy locking of e.g. external resources. Extra checks added to Django’s check framework to ensure your Django and MySQL configurations are optimal. Django-MySQL comes with a number of extensions to QuerySet that can be installed in a number of ways - e.g. adding the QuerySetMixin to your existing QuerySet subclass.
