About

Amazon Aurora is a MySQL and PostgreSQL-compatible relational database built for the cloud, that combines the performance and availability of traditional enterprise databases with the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of open source databases. Amazon Aurora is up to five times faster than standard MySQL databases and three times faster than standard PostgreSQL databases. It provides the security, availability, and reliability of commercial databases at 1/10th the cost. Amazon Aurora is fully managed by Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), which automates time-consuming administration tasks like hardware provisioning, database setup, patching, and backups. Amazon Aurora features a distributed, fault-tolerant, self-healing storage system that auto-scales up to 64TB per database instance. It delivers high performance and availability with up to 15 low-latency read replicas, point-in-time recovery, continuous backup to Amazon S3, and replication across three Availability Zones.

About

HeatWave is a massively parallel, high performance, in-memory query accelerator for Oracle MySQL Database Service that accelerates MySQL performance by orders of magnitude for analytics and mixed workloads. HeatWave is 6.5X faster than Amazon Redshift at half the cost, 7X faster than Snowflake at one-fifth the cost, and 1400X faster than Amazon Aurora at half the cost. MySQL Database Service with HeatWave is the only service that enables customers to run OLTP and OLAP workloads directly from their MySQL database. This eliminates the need for complex, time-consuming, and expensive data movement and integration with a separate analytics database. The new MySQL Autopilot uses advanced machine-learning techniques to automate HeatWave, which make it easier to use and further improves performance and scalability. HeatWave is optimized for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

About

Postico is a database client. Postico can connect to a local PostgreSQL server running on your Mac, or to remote servers running on a different computer. If you want to install a local PostgreSQL server on your Mac, I recommend Postgres.app. Postgres.app starts a PostgreSQL server running locally on your Mac. The first time it starts it will automatically create a new data directory and set up an empty database. After a few moments, the server will be running and waiting for connections. Postgres.app can't start when another PostgreSQL server is already running on your computer. If you run into problems, make sure to deactivate or uninstall other PostgreSQL installations. Reboot your computer after uninstalling! To connect to a PostgreSQL server with Postico, you must first create a favorite. A favorite contains parameters for connecting to a server. Some connection parameters are optional.

About

Enjoy the highest performance and unlimited possibilities when working with SQL Server. SQL Server Data Access Components (SDAC) is a library of components that provides native connectivity to SQL Server from Delphi and C++Builder including Community Edition, as well as Lazarus (and Free Pascal) for Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android for both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. SDAC-based applications connect to SQL Server directly through OLE DB, which is a native SQL Server interface. SDAC is designed to help programmers develop faster and cleaner SQL Server database applications. SDAC, a high-performance, and feature-rich SQL Server connectivity solution is a complete replacement for standard SQL Server connectivity solutions and presents an efficient native alternative to the Borland Database Engine (BDE) and standard dbExpress driver for access to SQL Server. SDAC-based DB applications are easy to deploy, and do not require the installation of other data provider layers.
