The QStandardPaths class provides access to OS-specific standard
locations on the filesystem, and also allows to search for files
within the defined directories. Other parts of the application
should be able to rely on the results returned by this class. Bugs
in this code can lead to severe issues like overwriting of user files,
reading configs from an incorrect place, or loading an incorrect
external code for execution. Therefore, the respective files are
marked security-critical.

The function definition at the location of the documentation is not used
on Q_OS_DARWIN, so qdoc cannot tie the documentation to it, leaving
broken links and qdoc warnings when building the documentation on
macOS.
Fix this by explicitly specifying the function that's being documented.

The latest XDG spec (0.8) defines XDG_STATE_HOME that does not exist
in QStandardPaths::StandardLocation.
Some Linux distributions clean XDG_CACHE_HOME on restart which makes
XDG_STATE_HOME useful as a path for saving application state.
This commit adds StateLocation and GenericStateLocation to serve as a
StandardLocation for XDG_STATE_HOME for all platforms.
This commit also updates docs and tests to fit the new changes.

These directories are common on desktop operating systems. "Public" is
used for sharing files with other users and "Templates" lets you add new
files to the file creation desktop menu (for example in a file
manager). An example use in a Qt application would be KDE's KIO having
default icons for both directories.
This is where they point to:

Using wrappers for these macros is problematic when for example passing the
-frewrite-includes flag to preprocess sources before shipping off to distcc
or Icecream. It will also start producing warnings when compilers implement
http://eel.is/c++draft/cpp.cond#7.sentence-2. See for example
https://reviews.llvm.org/D49091
Both https://clang.llvm.org/docs/LanguageExtensions.html and the SD-6 document at
https://isocpp.org/std/standing-documents/sd-6-sg10-feature-test-recommendations
recommend defining '__has_foo(x) 0' as a fallback for compilers without the
macros, so that's what we go for.

Change 28666d167aa8e602c0bea25ebc4d51b55005db13 simplified
QProcess::start{Process,Detached} by using findExecutable() instead of
using execvp, but this introduced an unintended side effect when the
PATH environment variable isn't set. It turns out that most libc have a
default fallback in that situation, which we didn't apply.
This commit applies the default directly to findExecutable(), which
seems sensible.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][QProcess] Fixed a regression that made QProcess be
unable to find executables when the PATH environment variable on some
Unix systems wasn't set. This behavior should not be relied upon since
many systems do not have sensible fallback values for PATH.
[ChangeLog][QtCore][QStandardPaths] findExecutable() will now apply the
default value for the PATH environment variable (as returned by the
POSIX confstr(3) function or found in <paths.h>) if the variable
isn't set in the environment.

This consolidates the _mac and _ios implementations into one, since most
details of OS X and iOS are shared.
The code base no longer uses deprecated Carbon File Manager APIs,
instead using Foundation APIs and semi-hardcoding the two cases where a
modern API is not available (Preferences and Fonts).
A few paths have changed in order to be more similar between OS X and
iOS where appropriate.
Lastly, OS X now supports QT_NO_STANDARDPATHS.
