Google Analytics

Introduction

For webmasters to make use of Google Analytics, historically you would normally need to insert some Javascript containing the unique Google Analytics measurement id or tracking number (in the format G-XXXXXXXX or UA-XXXXXX-X) into the header or footer of every page.

Users of the previous Google Analytics module are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the Google Tag module. The 2.0.x branch supports Google Tag and Google Tag Manager. Users of Google Analytics should be using the 2.x version of this module.

Drupal provides, via the Google Tag module, an automated way to place any Google Tag ID on your website to connect it to Google's products and services.
