Submission of form containing Object and Multipart File data

Question

In my spring application, I have a form which is data input both for a POJO class and A Multipart File (image file). The form looks like this:

the submission of this form is handled by this method in my controller:

the data from object is stored in the databasae, and the data from file is stored on disk (in the folder: /src/main/resources from my project).

The problem is when I submit the form, with or without a selected image file, I get this error:

Anyone knows how to avoid this error and save the data in the server (object and image)?

This is not a Spring problem. The problem is that you need to add the enctype to your HTML form to support file upload. You can do this by adding enctype="multipart/form-data" (regardless the server side technology).

I add this option to my form, but the same problem continues to happen.

@KleberMota looks like you didn't redeploy your project accordingly. I would expect a different problem.

Add comman-fileupload 1.3 Jar in your project.It is supportive jar to spring. And create its bean in Spring context.

I already added this dependency to my pom.xml. Do you know how to do create its bean in the spring context using java configuration? In which class I should add this, WebAppConfig, WebAppInitializer or DispatcherConfig?
